Toronto Wolfpack Win Again

The Toronto Wolfpack rolled to yet another victory over the weekend, this one a 54-12 win over the Coventry Bears. The match was relatively close after the first quarter of the match with Toronto leading only 8-4. The closeness of the result at that point was a little surprising given that Coventry have only won one game all season and the Wolfpack have dominated their opponents. However, the Wolfpack were able to pull away to win in convincing fashion once again.

Also of note from the match was that Americans Ryan Burroughs and Joe Eichner each played for the club. Burroughs started while Eichner came off the bench. It was Eichner's debut.

With six rounds remaining in the competition Toronto remain the only unbeaten team at nine wins and no losses. They have also outscored their opponents by a whopping +453. Toronto now head to England for two matches before returning to Canada. If they win next week and other results go their way they could clinch a place in the Super 8 playoff round.
