The Americans playing in Europe have learned their pools for next season. Chris Wyles, Titi Lamositele and Champions Cup winners Saracens are in Pool B where they will face off against Clermont, the team they beat for the title. Also in the pool are the Ospreys and Premiership rivals Northampton. Other Americans set to feature in the Champions Cup include Samu Manoa at Toulon, Greg Peterson at Glasgow, and U.S.-eligible Callum Black at ulster. Toulon are in Pool D with Scarlets, Bath, and Benetton Trevison while Glasgow are in Pool C with Exeter, Leinster, and Montpellier.

In the Challenge Cup there will be opportunities for a few more Americans. Pool B contains both Cardiff and Sale meaning that Blaine Scully and AJ MacGinty will get a chance to go head to head. Nic Civetta and Paddy Ryan will be in Pool A with their Newcastle team and get the chance to head to Russia. Paddy's brother, Dave, and his newly promoted Agen team are in Pool C.
