Women Eagles Get Another RWC Warm-up, USA-Canada Kickoff Time

The Women Eagles will get another match in their preparation for the World Cup in Ireland. U.S.A. Rugby announced today that the team will take on the WPL All-Stars right after the U.S.A.-Canada men's World Cup qualifier. The men's match will begin at 6:00 p.m. et/3:00 p.m. pt with the women's match starting at 8:30 p.m. et/5:30 p.m. pt. No word yet on the viewing options for either match.

"We are massively appreciative of the WPL All-Stars for helping us with our World Cup preparations," USA Women's Eagles Head Coach Pete Steinberg said in a U.S.A. Rugby press release. "The WPL is one of the best places for our players to play and improve and I am sure we will see a number of players suiting up for the WPL All-Stars that will be representing the Eagles in World Cups to come."

"The standard of competition in the Women's Premier League has never been better, and its growth is indicative of the women's game nationally," English said. "This is testament to the hard work and professionalism of coaches and players across the WPL and was evident to see at this year's National Championship.
