South Panthers Name Team To Face Mexico

The South Panthers have named their training squad ahead of their big Rugby Americas North match against Mexico on May 27th in Puebla, Mexico. The team will once again have the services of several of their top veterans like Matt Hughston. Also turning out for the team is former Eagles 7s player Marcus Satavu. Other players, like Gerson Blaise and Saade Bou Mikael have experience playing with Life.

The match against Mexico is a big one. The South's win over the Cayman Islands along with Mexico's win over Bermuda means that whoever wins this next match will be in the driver's seat to claim the top spot in the pool. It's clear that Mexico and the South are the two best teams in the pool so even though it's possible that someone slips up in the final round of matches it is very unlikely. Additionally for the South this is the only match they will have on the road.
