Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

There is only one week to go in the Premiership and Pro12 seasons. The American contingent at Saracens had already clinched their spot prior to the weekend but that didn't stop them from putting in a couple of good performances. Chris Wyles started for the first time in months while Titi Lamositele came off the bench in a win for the club. Unfortunately on the other side of the pitch Thretton Palamo missed out for Bristol. Additionally, no other American has a shot at the playoffs in the Premiership. Joe Taufete'e and AJ MacGinty started for their clubs with MacGinty hitting a conversion and a penalty. In the Pro12 there were no capped Eagles involved and they may miss out on the playoffs. In the Top 14, Taku Ngwenya got another runout for Brive and Americans in the Pro D2 also saw plenty of action. One of those players was David Tameilau who scored a try for Narbonne. Lastly, James Hilterbrand (pictured above) and Zach Pangelinanan both saw time in the Shute Shield.
