Suniula & Fualaau Fall Just Short In Hong Kong

Shalom Suniula, Naima Fualauu, and their Penguin side fell just short of defending their title at the Hong Kong 10s with a 7-10 loss to Gavekal in the final. Once again both Suniula and Fualaau played every match for the Penguins with Suniula starting and kicking a conversion in the final. They first beat the Scottish Exiles 29-0 in the quarterfinals before beating tough side YCAC 7-5 in the semi-finals. The Exiles, who were supposed to have Pslam Wooching but according to the match day rosters wasn't there, finished with a 26-0 loss to King's College at the University of Queensland.

Malon Al-Jiboori's Samurai team was disappointed to not make the quarterfinals but they rebounded with a strong showing on day two to take home the Bowl. They beat the Devil's Advocate Silver Dragons 26-0 in their Bowl quarterfinals. They then beat the A-Trade Overseas Old Boys 19-10 and finished with a 25-7 win over the Irish Vikings. Al-Jiboori will stay busy and he's the 13th man for the Eagles in Hong Kong and Singapore.
