Opening Kick

National Teams/MLR/ODAs:

The Women Eagles had an up and down tournament at the Kitakyushu 7s. Ultimately the team finished in 7th. They first lost to Fiji in the quarterfinals then beat England before losing to France.

In pool play they beat Spain and England but lost to Canada.

The local NPR station in Houston has a piece on the Houston Strikers.

Chris Wyles, Titi Lamositele, and Saracens are through to the Champions Cup final. More in Eagles Abroad.

The Varsity Cup is down to Cal and Arkansas State. Cal beat Penn State while Arkansas State beat Navy. More later.

The DI-A quarterfinals also played out as expected. St. Mary's, Arizona, BYU, and Life all won. Also more on this later.

UC-Davis crushed Florida State to make the DI-AA title match.

Kennesaw State are the women's DII spring champions. Jackie Finlan has more on the women's playoffs.

The Dartmouth women recently saw some 7s success while Alex Goff has more on spring 7s.
