National Teams/MLR/ODAs:

For the third straight tournament the Eagles have made the top four. They finished fourth at the Hong Kong 7s with loss to Australia.

Prior to that they beat England in the quarterfinals and then lost in heartbreaking fashion to South Africa in the semifinals.

In pool play they beat RussiaScotland, and Argentina.

Ben Pinkelman and Perry Baker made the dream team while the team has been pooled with New Zealand, Scotland, and Wales for Singapore.

The boy's U-18 team dropped their first match of their European trip to Portugal.

Utah Valley beat UCLA in a Varsity Cup upset. The rest of the matches were relative blowouts. We'll have a recap later.

In DI-AA, UC-Davis and Florida State have advanced to the Spring Championship at Stanford.

In other college results Lindenwood beat Davenport, the Lindenwood women won the Life 7s,

The Rugby Republic has put together a nice profile of Google Rugby Club.

In club play Monmouth beat Syracuse in the mud and the Lady Raiders are the champions of Hawaii.

Also in Hawaii, Marist and the Titans will face off for the championship.


Super Rugby will be reduced to 15 teams next season. Two teams from South Africa and one from Australia will be cut.

The captain of the Western Force is appealing to save his team while the team is suing to keep their place.
