Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It was another active weekend for Americans overseas. In Europe, the season is quickly winding down to the playoffs. One team that won't be there is Thretton Palamo's Bristol team. He's been in and out of the line-up for the team this year and was not on the roster as they lost to the Harlequins. That loss officially relegates them to the RFU Championship next year. That relegation is dependent on the team earning promotion from the Championship meeting the administrative requirements for the Premiership. It will be interesting to see if Palamo follows the team down a division.

One team that will be in the playoffs is Saracens. Titi Lamositele started and played 69 minutes for the team. Also starting in the Premiership was Joe Taufete'e, who played 67 minutes for Worcester, and AJ MacGinty, who played the full match and had two conversions and two penalties for Sale. Also in the UK, Greg Peterson started for Glasgow as he continues to make a comeback from injury.
