Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

One of the matches Americans had their eye on in Europe last weekend was the clash between Sale and Worcester because it featured two key players for the Eagles. It did not disappoint. Both AJ MacGinty and Joe Taufete'e started for Sale and Worcester respectively and each got on the scoreboard. MacGinty was the main kicker for Sale once again booting four conversion and a penalty in the win for Sale. Taufete'e had a try for Worcester. It wasn't all good news for Americans over the weekend. Blaine Scully was only able to go a dozen minutes for Cardiff before dislocating his elbow. It's unclear how long he will be out. Other players to see time include Titi Lamositele, Taku Ngwenya, and the American contingent in the Pro D2. In that competition Eric Fry started for Vannes but also earned a yellow card. David Tameilau started for Narbonne.
