A couple of notes to pass along this afternoon.
Strikers Hire Trouville
The Houston Strikers have once again raided the Seattle Saracens. The club has announced that Matt Trouville will be joining the team as their Academy Director. Trouville has been working with Atavus in Seattle and has been a stalwart for the Saracens. Now he'll take that experience working with the youth for Atavus and put it to growing the Strikers Academy. No doubt that the Strikers hiring of Justin Fitzpatrick as head coach played a role.

Tiger Rugby Adds Coaches
Tiger Rugby has added a couple of coaches to their upcoming camps. Life West coach Adriaan Ferris and former PRO Rugby Director of Rugby Steve Lewis have joined the organization. Ferris has been leading one of the up and coming teams in the U.S. with a lot of young talent while Lewis was responsible for fielding five very solid teams in PRO Rugby.
In a statement Ferris said: "The (IMG Academy) camp is going to provide a platform for growth & development. From a learning perspective, players who are growth mindset driven will be excited by what they will experience. Elite level rugby is about doing the simple things very well, under extreme pressure - we want players to learn the micro-skills needed to excel at that level... players will be in an positive learning environment that will test their thinking on the game. Ultimately that will empower them to be the best they can be."
