Once again there will be Americans playing at the Hong Kong 10s. When the Eagles 7s roster for the Hong Kong 7s was released it was made known that Malon Al-Jiboori, who is the team's 13th man for Hong Kong, would be playing for Samurai. Now you can add Naima Fualaau and Shalom Suniula to the list of Americans playing in the Hong Kong 10s. Both Fualaau and Suniula will be suiting up for the Penguins. Fualaau is a young player from Life West while Suniula is a veteran of both the Eagles 7s and 15s.
Play starts on Wednesday April 5th, Hong Kong time and continues the next day. Al-Jiboori and his Samurai team will play the CRFA Gladiators, Taikoo Scottish Place Exiles, and UBB Gavekal. Fualaau, Suniula, and the Penguins will play the Projecx Waterboys, Irish Vikings, and Devil's Advocate Silver Dragons.
Last year eventual Olympian Nate Ebner used his performance for Samurai at the tournament to play for the Eagles in Singapore and then the Olympics.
