Friday Keeps Squad For Vancouver

Photo: Connie Hatfield
Eagles 7s head coach Mike Friday hasn't made any changes to his team from Vegas as they head to Vancouver. The Eagles largely maintained their health with only a few bumps and bruises along the way. Madison Hughes arguably was the most questionable with a leg injury and a cut to the face but he's find and will captain the team once again. No changes makes a lot of sense for the team after third place in Vegas. To boot, the Eagles have traditionally done better on the second leg of a two leg set.

Malon Al-Jiboori, who played for Denver at the LVI but was around the Eagles throughout Vegas, will be brought along as an alternate. Al-Jiboori was very impressive for Denver and is seenas having a bright future for the Eagles.

Squad: Pat Blair, Ben Pinkelman, Danny Barrett, Matai Leuta, Walt Elder, Andrew Durutalo, Folau Niua, Maka Unufe, Steve Tomasin, Madison Hughes, Perry Baker, Martin Iosefo; Alternate: Malon Al-Jiboori
