The Eagles last summer opponent and location have fallen into place. The U.S. will be playing Georgia at Kennesaw State University near Atlanta on June 17. That's one week after they play Ireland in New York on June 10th and a week before they begin their World Cup qualifying series against Canada. The first leg of that series will be in Canada. Ticketing information for the match should be announced soon.
Facing Georgia in Atlanta (it's probably best to say that rather than Georgia in Georgia) is going to be a good test for the Eagles. The Lelos have undergone a bit of a dip after the World Cup but are still a tough opponent for the Eagles. In particular they are going to challenge the Eagles gains in the scrum. Still, Georgia are an opponent the Eagles have been able to beat in the recent past, including at this time four years ago.
