It's time for another look around DI club play.
It was a full slate of matches in the Pacific North. Two teams very familiar with each other in SFGG and Olympic Club went head to head. Volney Rouse opened things up with a penalty in the 8th minute. It took awhile for things to get going again but SFGG were the next to score when Colby Stevens crossed over. The lead was soon extended to 17-0 when Eakalafi Okusi scored before the half. In the second half Okusi added a second. With just a couple of minutes left Akuila Uaisele scored for SFGG and John Gallo scored for Olympic Club. The win now keeps SFGG perfect on the year.

Second place in the division belongs to Life West but they didn't play. Other results in the region saw the East Palo Alto Razorbacks 40-18 over Santa Rosa and SFGG Green lost to the Sacramento Lions.
Belmont Shore picked up another win in the Pacific South as they earned a forfeit result over Downtown who aren't fulfilling fixtures in the spring. OMBAC also won over the weekend beating Los Angeles 90-0. The win wasn't unexpected but the size of the win was. Sitting in second place is the Santa Monica Dolphins. They beat the Tempe Red Devils 52-24. Santa Monica have been playing well this spring and are challenging for a playoff spot. In third place sit the Old Aztecs. Belmont have 25 points, Santa Monica have 24 points, and the Old Aztecs have 20 points. They beat Pasadena 34-14.
There was only one official match in the Red River over the weekend. The Austin Blacks and HARC clashed with the Blacks winning 41-14. The Blacks led 27-7 at halftime. There was another match involving teams from the region with the Austin Huns beating New Orleans 91-8.
All other divisions have yet to start.
