Seattle Returns From Weather Delay

The weather has not been kind to the Seattle Saracens the last couple of weeks. Snow in the Pacific Northwest forced the cancellation of both the last two weekends but they are ready to get back to it this weekend. The first weekend was set to be against UBCOB for the men which was then scheduled for the next week until it had to be put off. The women were supposed to play Westshore.

This week the men face a very tough test against Burnaby Lake. The Lakers have been the star teams in the BC Premier League over the last few years and are once again stocked. However, just as the Saracens will be missing Ollie Kilifi to Eagles duty some Burnaby Lake players will be missing for Canada duty. The premier sides are set to go head to head at 1:00 p.m. local time in order to give fans a chance to see the U.S. vs. Canada later in the day. Seattle has only played one match in the Premier League so far this year losing a close one to Castaway Wanderers 21-20.

The women will also take on Burnaby Lake (Comox). They played each other all the way back in October with Seattle scoring the win.
