Pinkelman, Unufe Return For Vegas 7s

The Eagles 7s have been given a boost as both Ben Pinkelman and Maka Unufe have returned to full health and will join the team for Vegas. They help form a very veteran group of players that are coming off one of their best tournaments of the season in Sydney. In addition to Pinkelman and Unufe fellow veterans Andrew Durutalo, Folau Niua, Madison Hughes, Perry Baker, and Martin Iosefo will be on the team. Pat Blair, Steve Tomasin, and Matai Leuta are also there and will be looking to make a big impact. Tomasin in particular was good over the last few tournaments. The team will have a new face as Walt Elder makes his debut. One of the more notable names not on the roster is Carlin Isles who will have knee surgery and miss the rest of the season.

In year's past the U.S. has placed a Falcons team in the Las Vegas Invitational but not this year due to budget constraints. From what we understand the idea was to farm out some pool players to domestic teams playing in the tournament in order to give them experience.  The U.S. will play Samoa and Chile on day one and then will finish out pool play on day two against England.

Squad: Pat Blair, Ben Pinkelman, Danny Barrett, Matai Leuta, Walt Elder, Andrew Durutalo, Folau Niua, Maka Unufe, Steve Tomasin, Madison Hughes (C), Perry Baker, Martin Iosefo
