Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The focus on many Americans overseas was actually in Vancouver over the weekend as they helped the Eagles beat Canada. Nick Civetta, Cam Dolan, and David Tameilau played in that match. Still, there were plenty of Americans that saw action in Europe. Blaine Scully had a nice match for Cardiff as they thumped Benetton Treviso. He had a try before being able to come out early for some rest. Over in the Premiership, both Chris Wyles and Titi Lamositele didn't suit up for Saracens but Joe Taufete'e did for Worcester. In his first action since returning from the birth of his child he came off the bench for the Warriors. Unfortunately it was a losing effort for Worcester. Thretton Palamo started for Bristol on the wing in what was a bit of a change. It led to a big win so that's good. AJ MacGinty was on the bench for Sale but never got off it as they lost to Wasps. Down in the Pro D2 Eric Fry started for Vannes.
