Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The Pro D2 in France continues to be a good place for Americans to get high-level playing time. David Tameilau especially seems to be excelling as he played another full 80 minute shift for Narbonne. He has quickly established himself as a major presence in the competition. Eric Fry also continues to set time for Vannes. He came off the bench in their victory over the weekend. The Pro D2, because it's the second division in France, often gets overlooked around the world but it offers some of the best environments and play Americans can find.

Over in the United Kingdom, Titi Lamositele played more than a half and hour off the bench for Saracens in their surprise loss to Worcester. Chris Wyles didn't play for Saracens while Joe Taufete'e didn't play for Worcester as he is home with his newborn who was born last week. Also in the Premiership, Thretton Palamo came off the bench for Bristol while AJ MacGinty was a late scratch for Sale.
