Coyle Included In Eagles 7s For Sydney

The Eagles 7s have brought in a reinforcement for this weekend's Sydney 7s and they didn't have to go too far to find him. Chris Coyle, the former American football player for Arizona State that has been playing 7s and training with the Brumbies has been brought in as cover. He's the second local player to be brought in after Pago Haini was brought in last week. Haini is also on the team for the weekend. Coyle has been putting in a lot of work for the Brumbies and was included in their team for the National 7s awhile ago. With Coyle on the roster the Eagles have 13 players which should give them some flexibility that they didn't have last week.

Squad: Andrew Durutalo, Madison Hughes, Folau Niua, Danny Barrett, Don Pati, Steve Tomasin, Perry Baker, Martin Iosefo, Matai Leuta, Connor Wallace-Sims, Pago Haini, Chris Coyle, Carlin Isles

  1. Awesome! Im looking forward to seeing this guy play at this level. He sounds like a great athlete and a good size fella with sure hands as well. We need more of that in our Sevens Squad!
