Central Washington Downs Lindenwood

The Central Washington Wildcats capped off a successful trip to the Midwest with a 21-3 win over Lindenwood. A yellow card to Lindenwood's Chris Kelland for a high tackle gave Central Washington the gap they needed to score. Treston Keys charged down a Nick Feakes kick for the try and conversion. It got even worse for Lindenwood when Feakes was also sent to the bin just five minutes after Kelland. Central Washington wasn't able to convert but they still had the momentum.

The yellow cards continued int the second half with Larry Peneueta and Darren Cooper scoring in the 68th and 75th minutes to seal things up for the Wildcats.

After the match Feakes noted that "The game was tough. We found ourselves on the back foot for much of it due to poor discipline and simple errors. Central Washington were also a strong and skillful team who took advantage of the opportunities we gave them. The most important thing to me was that the effort was there. The other things are fixable and we will be looking to bounce back in Colorado this weekend."

Central Washington also beat Lindenwood-Belleville 45-12 on the trip.
