Dave Hodges, one of the most decorated names in American rugby, is back with the Eagles after taking on the role of general manager for the team. He will also manage the USA Rugby Academy. Hodges was capped over 50 times and had a lengthy career in Europe. In his new duties he will oversee the logistical operations of the Eagles (not a small task by any means) as well as help with the overseeing of the USA Rugby Academy powered by Atavus. He most recently worked for United World Sports.
"I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with our Men's National Team again as we strive for Rugby World Cup qualification," Hodges said in a U.S.A. Rugby Press Release. "Working every day to assist in the success of our Eagles is an exciting proposition in addition to identifying and tracking the next generation of American men and women players with our partners at Atavus. It is a great time to be involved with USA Rugby. I can't wait to roll up my sleeves, and am thankful for the leadership of Dan Payne as we work to get better every day."
