Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

A couple of Americans crossed the try line over the weekend. The biggest of those tries was Titi Lamositele who scored a late and important try for Saracens to preserve at least a share of the points against Exeter. Lamositele was called on early coming off the bench in just the 14th minute but played well all match and justly got the try. Blaine Scully also had a try for Cardiff over the weekend event though they weren't able to get a win. For Scully the try came just a day after his grandmother passed away and he dedicated the try to her. Thoughts go out to Scully and his family during this tough time. Down in France, David Tameilau continued to see good time for Narbonne. This week he started at lock and if it wasn't for a yellow card would have played the whole match. Outside that no other American played in France except for U.S.-eligible Dave Ryan.
