Falcons 7s Headed Back To South America

The Falcons are headed back to South America to play in the Sudamerica 7s in Argentina and the Vina del Mar 7s in Chile. The team is expected to encounter some great competition, including teams from Fiji, Argentina, and Canada. The Sudamerica 7s is just after the new year on January 6th and 7th in Argentina and then the 14th and 15th in Chile. At the Vina del Mar 7s the Eagles are in an international pool with Argentina, Fiji, and Canada while the South American teams vie for a spot at the Hong Kong 7s. On day two the two pools will mix.

With the Eagles busy prepping for Wellington and Sydney and with a lot of players on the team suffering fatigue from a combination of 7s and 15s duty the tournament will feature players trying to earn a spot with the first team. You can expect the Eagles to call in an expanded squad ahead of the tour. The team is also likely to be the core of the Falcons team that plays in Vegas and potentially Vancouver.
