Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

With Christmas this weekend teams are getting an early start with a big slate of matches on Friday. A few will play on Christmas Eve and then even more on Boxing Day. It's a little to early to know who is playing for some of the teams over the weekend but we do know those with earlier matches. AJ MacGinty has become the go-to fly-half for Sale and will man the helm once again as they play Northampton on Friday. Down in France, Samu Manoa is on the bench for Toulon. Taku Ngwenya has firmly cemented his place in the Brive line-up with yet another start.

Others expected to play over the weekend include a tasty American match between Saracens and Newcastle. Thretton Palamo may also see time with Bristol while Blaine Scully and Cam Dolan might do the same for Cardiff. Players that won't be playing include those in the National League One and the Pro D2 who have the weekend off.
