Will Magie Training With Western Force

Will Magie is on the move once again. After a short stint back in England with Ealing he's off to Australia to train with the Western Force. He won't be playing for the Force or a club down in Australia it's a training stint with the idea of making the Eagles ARC squad. The former Junior All-American captain had a strong season with Denver in PRO Rugby last year. He's most known for his dramatic kick in the only extra time match of the season but over the course of the year Magie continued to develop as one of the best fly-halfs. The fact that he is also young is a plus for him.

Despite excelling for the Junior All-Americans Magie still hasn't gained much attention with the Eagles. He's missed out on the ARC and the APC. However, that could change with a stint down in Australia. AJ MacGinty is the team's number one option but there is a battle to see who can be the back-up between the likes of Will Holder, JP Eloff, James Bird, and others.

  1. very surprised hes not in the Eagles squad considering Holder isn't a good fly and is leaving soon and Ben Cima is way to younger and doesn't have a lot of experience with the big boys
