Seattle Win Yet Again

The Seattle Saracens moved one place closer to a playoff spot in the Mainland Cup with a 33-15 win over Meraloma on Saturday. Seattle saw the return of Ollie Kilifi into the starting line-up to go along with several other experienced players. In the end that was enough for them to push past for the win. The Saracens have only one match left. That match comes against rivals the University of British Columbia. The Saracens have 19 points for third place while UBC have 21 points. Whoever wins next weekend's match will finish in the top two.

After going 2-0 to start the season the Seattle women suffered their first loss of the year. They fell to Westshore 24-19. Even with the loss they remain at the top of the table but are just two points ahead of Westshore. The Saracens Premiership Reserve team wasn't as successful as the full team losing 14-13.
