NYAC Beats Old Blue, Wolfhounds Crush Boston

NYAC are one step closer to claiming the American Rugby Premiership title after a 30-25 win over Old Blue. That follows up a tight win earlier in the season over their rivals. Tries from Chris Mattina and Justin Hundley along with a penalty from Harry Bennett put NYAC up 17-0 before Old Blue made it 17-11 thanks to a try from Jamal Hadley and two penalties from Stephen Roussow. Bennett would prove strong for NYAC on the day with a couple more penalties and a try to push the lead to 30-11. Old Blue scored a couple of late tries to make it interesting but it was NYAC's day.

Also in the ARP, Tadhg Leader had 35 points with a yellow card to lead the Boston Irish Wolfhounds to a 72-7 win over their rivals Boston. The win now gives the Wolfhounds two on the season while Boston remain winless.

In the Atlantic Cup Mystic River took on Life. This time Life had to go on the road and they weren't as successful as their other matches in the Cup falling 43-17. Life return home next week to take on the South Panthers.
