Today's match can be seen on delay on NBCSN. Our match commentary is brought to you by Canterbury USA!

Pre-game: A good mixture of fans out here today. Lots of green shirts but they also naturally stand out more than black. It's not an ex-pat crowd by any means with a lot of Americans in attendance.

Pre-game: Eddie O'Sullivan is sitting here in the pressbox for those interested.

Pre-game: Anthems up and done. Ireland using a fiddle. You don't see that everyday.
1: New Zealand penalized early. Ireland choose to go for the corner.
3: Another penalty. This time they'll take the easy point. Sexton's kick is good. 3-0 with 3 minutes played.
5: Try to New Zealand. Interesting sequence that sees Kieran Read get an assist with his face. George Moala try. Conversion no good.
7: They are checking for a dangerous tackle. It looked bad in real time but we'll see what the replay has. Joe Moody shown yellow. Big opportunity here for Ireland.
9: Third TMO referral in ten minutes. They are checking the grounding of an Ireland try (Jordi Murphy). Try given. Ireland now up 10-5 after the conversion.
10: Very good crowd here in Chicago. It's not a sellout (even though they might call it that) but it's very close.
15: NZ have conceded five penalties to only one for Ireland so far. Try Ireland! Their forwards go to work again. CJ Stander. Conversion no good. 15-5.
19: Beauden Barrett with a penalty. 15-8 to Ireland.
23: Sexton answers that with a penalty of his own. 18-8.
25: The Irish part of the crowd is definitely the most vocal at this point. We need more singing in American rugby. Injuries force both Ryan Crotty and Jordi Murphy off. Malakai Feikitoa and Josh van der Flier are on.
32: Ireland clearly in the ascendancy so far. If they can get another score before halftime they are in business. And there it is. Conor Murray slips through for the try. Conversion is good. 25-8.
That's halftime. Ireland in front 25-8. New Zealand and their fans could wake up with an early second half score.

41: Second half underway!
46: New Zealand look positive at the start of the half but then quickly fade with a couple of errors.
47: Try Ireland! After another NZ penalty they go for the corner. Then the maul before it goes out to Simon Zebo. The conversion is good. 30-8. Who would have thought this?
51: Dan Coles with a beautiful offload and TJ Perenara scores. That was quick. Barrett's conversion is good. 30-15.
55: Another NZ try! What passing from the All Blacks at the moment. Ben Smith. This is some match. Conversion is good. It's now 30-22.

58: Penalty on the restart. Conor Murray makes the kick. 33-22.
64: Scott Barrett Try! Such good passing, such good lines. The conversion is good. Four point game. 33-29.
69: New Zealand is pushing. It feels like they have one more in them.
71: Malakai Feikitoa is out. Ardie Savea moves to the wing.
75: Ireland with a great opportunity after they create a 5m scrum. This is the match right here potentially.
76: Try Ireland! Robbie Henshaw. The conversion makes it 40-29 with less than five minutes to go.
79: Ireland milk some time off the clock with a penalty attempt. It's no good. Just a minute left.
80: That's the final What a victory by Ireland. This crowd is loving it. You can bet there is going to be a party in Chicago tonight.
Post-match: Eagles players are conflicted.
