Life Down South Panthers

The South Panthers got their season started last weekend with a tough 65-6 and 39-10 loss to Life in Marietta, Georgia at the new Lupo Family Field. Life have been active this fall playing NYAC, Old Blue, and Mystic River, the top three teams on the East Coast, so when the match started they were well prepared and it showed jumping out to a 19-3 lead. That lead only increased when Schuyler Whelan scored off a scrum. The South was able to add another penalty but when Maciu Koroi, who is a leader for Life this year, scored a try the Running Eagles led 31-6 at the break.

In the the second half it was much more of the same. A chip and chase led to assistant coach turned player for the match Dave Gannon to score. Then it was Harley Davidson's turn and Life led 45-6. Tries from Koroi, Donovan Norphlet, and Marcus Walsh finished off the match.

Life move on to play Arkansas State this weekend while the Panthers next assemble in Richmond, Virginia in early December to play the Capital All-Stars.
