Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

November is typically a mixed time for Americans overseas. Most leagues take some sort of break for the November internationals either through cup play or simply time off. That usually means that the likes of Chris Wyles have time off. That was true for him and all Premiership players in the LV= Cup over the weekend (Titi Lamositele and Nick Civetta were with the Eagles). However, there were still plenty of players busy elsewhere. Blaine Scully saw a full shift once again for Cardiff while in France Samu Manoa did the same for Toulon. In the Pro D2 it was even more busy. Eric Fry has taken straight to his new club coming off the bench and scoring a try for Vannes. David Tameilau also saw time for Narbonne over the weekend. The most productive weekend went to Jess Wooden and Kimber Rozier in the women's Premiership. They did all the scoring for Aylesford in a victory.
