Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The Pro D2 is quickly becoming the hub of action for Americans overseas. Two capped Eagles, one cap in waiting, and one U.S.-eligible player all combined for 223 minutes among for teams over the weekend. Christian Ostberg got a start for Aurillac and played 50 minutes. David Tameilau also got a start for his team, Narbonne, and would have played the whole match had he not picked up a late yellow card. Eric Fry came off the bench for Vannes while Dave Ryan started once again for Agen.

The other hub of Americans is in the Premiership and the Pro12. Chris Wyles once again started for Saracens while Titi Lamositele came off the bench. AJ MacGinty is back to health and kicking for Sale. He had a penalty and two conversions although Sale couldn't beat Wasps. Additionally, Nick Civetta saw his first Premiership action as a sub and Blaine Scully started once again.
