Classic Eagles Fall To Argentina

The Classic Eagles will move into the Plate competition of the World Rugby Classic after falling to Argentina 33-14 in their opening match yesterday. Led by the likes of Andrew Suniula, Mose Timoteo, and Casey Rock the Classic Eagles actually enjoyed the majority of the play early. However, that wasn't enough to stop a good Argentina side as they ran out to a 19-0 lead. Argentina would extend that lead until the U.S. finally broke through via Fred Wintermantel. Argentina would increase their lead for a fifth and final time before Louis Tulio helped the U.S. cause with a try and another conversion.

The World Rugby Classic is one of the top tournaments in the world every set. Set in Bermuda a number of former stars for their national team will turn up and play. This year saw Martin Castrogiovanni show up and play for Italy. The U.S. will next play France on Thursday.
