WPL Recap: Four Seal Semi-finals Spots

Just a couple of weeks remain in the Women's Premier League regular season but the four teams--Glendale, San Diego, New York, and Twin Cities--that will play for the title are already set after winning yet again. That said, there is still a lot to play for as the teams fight for seeding.

In the Blue Conference the Glendale Raptors are unbeaten with five full bonus point wins for 25 points. The Raptors handled the Berkeley All Blues 77-5. Unfortunately for the All Blues that leaves them without a win on the season. Both the San Diego Surfers and ORSU had the weekend off. If the Surfers win then that puts them in a position to jump over Glendale in the final week of the regular season on October 29th.

The Red Conference has New York at 5-0, also with 25 points. They are locked into first place with a week to go. New York used a big 62-24 over the Twin Cities Amazons to clinch first. The Amazons are still locked into second place. Also in the conference the Atlanta Harlequins beat the D.C. Furies 19-0.
