Saracens Picks Up Another Win

The Seattle Saracens continue to look like favorites to make it to the BC Premier League in the spring after yet another victory. This time the Saracens beat Vancouver Rowing Club 41-24 at home at Magnuson Park. The Saracens now have three wins through five matches and it would take something spectacular for them to collapse at this point. They face a crucial match against Meraloma next week which could give them even more space in the standings.

The top teams in the standings at the end of the season qualify for the Mainland Cup playoffs and will be in the BC Premier League in the spring along with the top teams from Vancouver Island. That competition is the top non-professional club competition in North America.

The Saracens women were scheduled to play Castaway-Wanderers but the team from Vancouver Island cancelled the match.
