Eagles vs. Maori All Blacks Nearing Sellout

The match between the Eagles and the Maori All Blacks is close to a sellout according to U.S.A. Rugby CEO Dan Payne. Reportedly over 15k tickets have been sold and with less than two weeks left the match should sellout or come very close. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000.

Nearing a sellout shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. With the All Blacks and Ireland playing the next day at Soldier Field there was always going to be plenty of Eagles fans that planned on making a weekend of the two matches. Having a sellout would be a huge gain for the Eagles.

  1. I thought that tickets for this game meant a ticket also for the Ireland game? Assuming they reserved 20,000 seats at Soldier Field for dual game tickets does that mean the main event is not selling too well?
