Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup took priority over the weekend. It was mixed for Americans with some getting  more time than others and others getting a break. The match headlining things for Americans was Toulon vs. Saracens. Samu Manoa once again started for Toulon before being taken out at his customary 50-60 minute mark. Chris Wyles started and played another 80 minutes for Saracens. This time he chipped in with a try as Saracens won.

Wyles wasn't the only one to pick up a score over the weekend. U.S.-eligible Toni Pulu had two tries for Counties Manukau. Marcel Brache had a try as his Perth Sprit team beat James Hilterbrand's Sydney Rays side. Other players to see time over the weekend include Thretton Palamo starting for Bristol and Cam Dolan doing the same at Cardiff. Nick Civetta also got in on the action with his first start for Newcastle.
