Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup once again dominate for Americans overseas. The regulars like Chris Wyles, Samu Manoa, and Blaine Scully will once again either start (Wyles and Scully) or come off the bench (Manoa). That is pretty much it as injury or rest limits the number of players getting time with the big exception of Taku Ngwenya. He is going to start for Brive after coming off the bench and playing good minutes last week. In the British & Irish Cup Cam Dolan will get a chance to play for Cardiff. Down in the Southern Hemisphere Chris Baumann is going to get another start for Wellington as they try to make it into the Mitre 10 Cup final. Baumann has been a big player for Wellington this year and he could be moving on to other opportunities. Also starting over the weekend is Marcel Brache who is in the NRC final along with the Perth Spirit.
