Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

The Champions Cup and Challenge Cup begin in Europe this weekend. For Americans that can be a mixed bag. For those in the Champions Cup, like Chris Wyles and Samu Manoa that means getting starts in important matches. For others, like Nick Civetta in the Challenge Cup that means seeing first team time for the first time this year as Newcastle are choosing to use a different squad. Either way there are still a number of Americans that are going to see time. One of the best matches to keep an eye on is the match-up between Saracens and Toulon. Both Wyles and Manoa will start. The Challenge Cup also means that Taku Ngwenya could make his debut for Brive. Down at the lower levels players will still be getting time. In the Southern Hemisphere two Americans will go head to head in the NRC semi-finals.
