Eagles Abroad: Weekend Preview

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

Americans overseas has their first (and hopefully only) significant injury of the year. Greg Peterson will miss the next six months after having shoulder surgery. In some ways the move may be a blessing in disguise for Langilangi Haupeakui as Glasgow shuffles their line-up to cope. Outside of that injury news it's a standard week for Americans overseas. Chris Wyles, AJ MacGinty, and Blaine Scully will all start. Titi Lamositele and Cam Dolan are on the bench for their respective teams. They have been playing reserve rugby this year so making the full roster is a good accomplishement for both. Down in France Samu Manoa will start for Toulon. That's not unusual as he has been a key part of the line-up for the entire year but what is significant is that he is moving positions and will play in the back row.
