Women Eagles Tour To France Confirmed

U.S.A. Rugby have confirmed what interim Eagles head coach Peter Baggetta told TIAR in an interview last month that the Women Eagles will be touring France this fall. The U.S. will first play France in Beziers on November 22nd before playing in Montpellier on November 25th. The U.S. played France last summer in the Super Series falling to to the Six Nations champions. The matches will reportedly be streamed.

The tour is a crucial part of the Women Eagles build-up to next years World Cup in Ireland. With several players, including Hope Rogers, already in residency down in San Diego the team is putting a major effort to a good showing next year. Outside of a few potential warm-ups next summer these two matches will be a final chance for Baggetta to find out which combination of players works best. It's also expected that many players from the 7s team will be involved with the 15s squad.
