Seattle Open Mainland Cup With A Win

The Seattle Saracens picked up a win in their Mainland Cup season opener. They beat Abbotsford 22-8. It was a good win for the team that will face an increasingly tough schedule as the season progresses. Next up for the team is a home match against the UBCOB Ravens before making the trip up to Capilano. The Mainland Cup is a fall competition in the BC leagues with teams then earning a spot at promotion to the BC Premier League, something that is very likely for the Saracens. The Saracens DI team lost 17-15 to Abbotsfords DI team.
