Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

Several Americans managed to find themselves on the scoresheet this last weekend as action in Europe and the Southern Hemisphere intensified. AJ MacGinty has recovered from his injury that kept him out of the line-up the last few weeks and picked up the start for Sale. He ended up playing the full match kicking two penalties and four conversions in the process. Also in the Premiership, both Chris Wyles and Thretton Palamo played the full 80 minutes for their clubs. In the Pro12, Blaine Scully scored his first try of the season as he helped Cardiff to a win.

Down in France, Christian Ostberg continues to see good time for Aurillac, once again coming off the bench. It would not be a surprise to see him earn a call-up to the Eagles sooner rather than later. In the Top 14, Samu Manoa came off the bench. Taku Ngwenya still has yet to make an appearance for Brive.
