Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Eagles Abroad is brought to you by Grubber, makers of fine sporting apparel.

It was another full weekend for Americans playing overseas. In the Premiership both Chris Wyles and Thretton Palamo got starting nods for the first time this season. Both went the full 80 minutes for their respective teams but with very different results. Wyles and Saracens beat rivals Northampton while Palamo and Bristol lost very handily to Wasps. They were the only Americans to play in the Premiership over the weekend but more are expected to suit up in the 'A' League today. Also, in case you missed it David Tameilau and Newcastle have parted ways.

Down in France Samu Manoa continues to see good time for Toulon even if the results are mixed. It's amazing how much of a presence he has become on a team stacked with top class talent. It's a testament to his hard work. Additionally, Eric Fry started once again for St. Nazaire albeit in a lopsided result.
