Will Chang Named U.S.A. Rugby Board of Directors Chairman

Will Chang, the chair of the 2018 Rugby World Cup 7s in the Bay Area, has been named as the new Chairman of the U.S.A. Rugby Board of Directors. Chang, who has been involved with U.S.A. Rugby for a number of years and is close to former U.S.A. Rugby CEO Nigel Melville, also has a stake in the San Francisco Giants and D.C. United. Bob Latham, who was serving as chairman, has aged out of the position. Rob King has been selected as Vice Chairman. King has been on the board since 2010.

Also joining the Board of Directors is Dean Barrett, a former executive at McDonald's in charge of global marketing. The board, which has often been criticized as a body that could be doing more but hasn't been, could see their role change over the next few years with the addition of new members.
