National Teams/PRO Rugby:

The Women Eagles saw their dreams of earning a medal in Rio come to an end with a very tight loss to New Zealand in the quarterfinals. It was a performance all fans should be proud of.

In pool play the team started off with a shaky loss to Fiji, a big win over Colombia, and a gutsy, thrilling draw with Australia.

Jessica Javelet had a big day two earning Dream Team honors. The team will face Fiji again in the 5-9th place playoffs in just a few hours.

Another player that had a big day was Kathryn Johnson who had her dad start a rugby team for her.

The College All-Americans got their tour of Australia off to a great start with a solid win over the Darling Downs.
