How To Watch Rugby At The Olympics Online

If you are like us, you've probably ditched cable a long time ago. If that is the case then figuring out how to watch rugby at the Olympics is going to be difficult. However, as all rugby fans know finding out how to watch something online isn't something new. Fans have long had to figure out how to watch something on beIN Sports Connect, the old Universal Sports, or ESPN3. Typically fans have been able to use a cable login to be able to watch on any of those platforms. It looks like the Olympics isn't going to be any different.

NBC is offering a lot of live offerings on each of their stations. Those stations can be live streamed and additionally, many events individually will be able to be live streamed with a login, rugby included. As things stand--WARNING: things can always be subject to change, even the day of--the entire women's and men's tournaments will be streamed on NBCOlympics.com (you can specifically find rugby, beginning with day one, here) and on the NBC Sports app.

It's important to note that the streaming differs a little from NBC's planned broadcast schedule. Some things are planned to air on delay. It's unclear whether that means the stream won't be available during that time. During the London and Sochi Olympics there was a bit of each. As of now we're planning on covering things live, no matter if they are delayed on broadcast television or not. We will be following the streaming schedule.
