Eagles Abroad: Weekend Review

Samu Manoa's chance to make history as the first American to win both the Premiership and the Top 14 title is going to have to wait until next season as his Toulon side lost to Racing in the final. Over 90,000 fans turned up in Barcelona to watch the final and Manoa played well in his 80 minutes but ultimately it wasn't enough.


Super Rugby

Marcel Brache and the Western Force had the weekend off.

James Hilterbrand and the Waratahs had the weekend off. He mainly plays with Manly in the Shute Shield but he was with the Eagles.

Shute Shield

Chris Chapman and Sydney University drew with Warringah 41-41 on Saturday.

James Hilterbrand wasn't in the line-up for Manly as they beat Penrith 65-0 on Saturday. Hilterbrand was with the Eagles.

Dewar Shield

James King wasn't in the line-up for Moorabbin as they lost to Melbourne on Saturday. King was with the Eagles.
