Semi-finals Set At College 7s Nationals

Davenport, St. Mary's, Arizona State and AIC will play for the men's DI championship tomorrow after surviving pool play and the quarterfinals against some top teams. Due to an incoming tropical storm the matches will be played early in the morning in order to ensure that all championship matches will be played. It's possible that some of the lower round matches may not be played at all. The Cup semi-finals are scheduled for 8:00 and 8:20 a.m. et with the final at 10:40 a.m. et.

Men's DI

The quarterfinals featured some very tasty match-ups, including Central Washington against AIC. This was a match that many had their eye on as a potential match-up prior to the tournament and it delivered. It was hard fought but in the end AIC emerged 15-0 winners. They will play Arizona State in the semi-finals. The Sun Devils have had a very strong tournament so far going unbeaten in pool play and then knocking off also unbeaten Lindenwood 24-0 in the quarterfinals. The other semi-final will feature Davenport against St. Mary's. Davenport beat West Virginia while St. Mary's had to outlast a good Notre Dame College side 21-17.
