Muliaina Arrives In San Francisco, Should Play Against Ohio

Help is on it's way to San Francisco. Mils Muliaina has arrived in the Bay Area and has been practicing with the team this week. He is expected to make his debut as the team hosts Ohio at Boxer Stadium on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. PT. Muliaina was always slated to join San Francisco late as he needed to finish out his season with Zebre in the Pro12. That season ended a few weeks ago but he needed some stand down time.

With 100 caps for New Zealand he's the most experienced player in the league and arguably the biggest name. He should come in and help San Francisco immediately, especially in defense in the backs. San Francisco have given up the most points by far so far this year.

In addition to Muliaina the league is also contemplating the signing of more players (nearly all domestic) for not just San Francisco or other teams. Those signings have been expected for awhile now that the college and club seasons are winding down.

  1. As a kiwi living in the US the addition of Mils is going really ramp up this competition... can't wait to see him in action!

  2. This is very exciting. I am excited to see some new names come in as well. I wonder if Todd Clever will sign with San Diego?

    1. Very interesting. Same with Fry?

    2. Does Fry have a club next fall? He was just coming into his own as a true international level prop.
